One week of care for a songbird at Wild ARC

This sponsorship supports a week of care and rehabilitation of a special wild animal like this Chestnut-backed Chickadee.

Songbirds such as American Robins, Cedar Waxwings, and Chestnut-backed Chickadees make up the majority of patients that arrive at Wild ARC in need of help. This diverse group of species has one important thing in common – the challenges of living alongside human settlements. Colliding with windows, being struck by cars, and being caught by free-roaming outdoor cats are the most common reason these lovely birds require rehabilitation. Wild ARC has outdoor aviaries in a variety of sizes to help these patients build up their strength and stamina before returning to their wild homes.
